The staff were friendly but our experience was
Affected by several issues, including slow service and poor dining options. The breakfast was excellent, but other meals did not live up to expectations, leaving me disappointed.

The location was remote, gorgeous on the ferry to Hayman for 2 hours. The most important was the staff - efficient and outstandingly accommodating people. There was plenty of great meals.

Booked a room with perfect views of the ocean and lagoon. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, the bathroom was beautiful. The service was top-notch and the pool was heated. Obviously that free Wi-Fi throughout the property was really handy. Location: the hotel was so close to common areas, the restaurants and food outlets and Coral sea marina.

Fine views but not 5-star service
Our room was cozy and newly furnished. Dinner at one restaurant was surprisingly decent, but the service was a mess. Waitstaff kept interrupting our meal asking about drinks, super annoying. The pool needed better cleaning. All in all, not quite what you expect for the price.

Breakfast, the location, the pool, the food.
Paying $7 for a bottle of water and $10.95 for a block of Cadbury chocolate.

Sincerely, it was a really amazing stay with good attentive service and a smile. The staff were outstandingly accommodating, the breakfast was amazing. The room was absolutely gorgeous and large, had outdoor bathroom.
Had cold breakfast, it might be better.

The beautiful landscape and well-maintained grounds made every walk a good experience for me, especially with the accessible pathways that ensured I could enjoy all the scenic views without any struggle.
More dining options would enhance the experience.

The fine beachfront and clean, modern room created a lovely atmosphere. A minor wait for breakfast was quickly resolved, and the complimentary water sports enhanced our experience. A wonderful getaway overall!

The staff were exceptional, had a great attitude. I stayed in a great-sized room with a sofa bed, central heating, and an iron.
It had hard beds, maybe it was bad luck.

Totally overpriced and worst service ever in a supposed to be luxury hotel worst service ever as well in the restaurants- we sometimes had to wait 20 minutes to get the menu and finally had to walk up to the bar to place the orders the hotel only has a great beach and view, rooms are old, shabby, pool dirty, menus dirty, poor restaurant choice (when you walk in 15 to 9 and it closes at 9 they basically punish you for coming so late), food bad and pricy, service team are all underpaid young workers with no luxury experience at all, at the beach you cannot swim due to jelly fishes (then when you ask why no one is in the water they tell you that you can swim, but there might be deadly jelly fishes) excursion we booked was awful (we booked outer reef snorkeling trip which was changed witout any notice to a trip around the corner to another island- snorkeling equipment was not working, no one cared, trip lasted only 3 hours instead of 7- full price was charged nevertheless) staff was extremly unfriendly and unhelpful breakfast menu ( you even have to walk to the bar and wait long time to get your coffee, poor breakfast choice) when we arrived we sent a request to book a spa the day after arrival- they made the booking before we arrived and even wanted us to pay though we were not even on the island the day of departure they ring 2 hours before departure at your door to pick up the luggage- it is not even possible to check out when you want...) We really pretty much travelled all over and in Australia for some strange reason Hayman has a good reputation, but there is no reason for that at all- being an international traveller this is the worst value for money experience ever- stay away - this was a terrible expensive experience-

We had a mixed experience, with an amazing beachfront view in our premium room, but the dining service was sluggish. It felt a bit outdated compared to the photos.

The lagoon views from my room were fine at sunset. The breakfast options were diverse and included freshly baked croissants. The gardens were beautifully maintained, perfect for leisurely walks. The staff were attentive. It's a picturesque getaway 🌴

missingWrote a review on 04 Julcold breakfast
Communication before arrival was sparse, causing a bit of confusion on check-in and ferry details. Upon arrival, waiting for our room took longer than anticipated, frustrating given our limited stay. I had to make last-minute transport arrangements when I discovered our ferry drop-off was miscommunicated. While the breakfast options had potential, the hot buffet items served cold made for a less enjoyable start to the day. Dining prices felt inflated for the average quality, with transport fees sharply impacting the overall value.
